"Structured Moments" received solo exhibitions in the early 1980's. It is also the work for which I was chosen a 1983 Finalist for a NYS Photography Fellowship. When I showed Roy DeCarava my portfolio he particularly liked this and I offered him the print. He refused and said to never give my photographs away. Although I was not a student at Hunter College, he invited me to attend his class, which I did.
