The title "REAL / UNREAL: urban landscapes of the 1980's" was suggested by my friend and mentor Helen Gee. It received a solo exhibition at the Gorilla Art Show / Avenue B Gallery and was in a group show at the Hudson River Museum, both in the 1980's. Images were published in the NY Times, Crain's New York Business, and The Villager. There are still some vintage, gelatin silver, prints available.

Shadow Man. When André Kertész, my favorite photographer of all time, and who lived nearby, saw this photograph he told me: "Many times I see that and say I have to photograph it; now that I've seen this, I no longer have to."
